On August 6, 2026, Dr. Roberto Cofresí presented “Three-Headed Hydra: Incentive Salience-Based Risk Pathways to Substance Use” at the 2026 Convention of the American Psychological Association (APA) in Washington, DC.

The talk was delivered at the Division 28 (Psychopharmacology & Substance Use) Business Meeting, following Dr. Cofresí’s receipt of the Division 28 Early Career Psychopharmacologist Award, handed by the President of Division 28, Dr. Cassandra Gipson-Reichardt.
